UniFirst customers -Watch your statements Beware of price increases and other charges "added" in time.I have a "fixed" price contract.

UniFirst has many consumer complaints just like this adding of fees and "national" price increases.

They are in breach of Their own contract and will not release me even though they overcharged me ,admitted to/reverted the charges, never refunded the overcharges , gave time to correct and now overcharged me again.

They will not return calls now that I have asked to be released from contract for this breach ;from Corp office President Mr Coatti,VP Stephen Sintros,Region VP southeast Robert Kuhn to local branch manager Carlos Alverez.

Anyone else with UniFirst issues contact me

I'm in talks with TV,BBB,FTC and other consumer protection advocates.

UniFirst takes pride in consistently conducting business in an honest and ethical manner, and we take customer satisfaction very seriously, which is how we have become a leader in our industry. We know it is extremely important that we explain all UniFirst program details and that we fully disclose the nature of any fees our customers may incur.

More importantly, it is essential that we honor all the terms of agreements entered into with our customers.

In this case, the customer received a system generated price increase that was not intended. In good faith, UniFirst attempted to resolve the noted concerns immediately after we first heard of them in writing from the customer. Measures were taken to satisfy those concerns within the agreementโ€™s Performance Guarantee process and time frame (the terms of the contract were mutually agreed to, and included process for problem resolution). These measures included crediting the total amounts related to the inadvertent price increase and reverting the weekly pricing back to the pre-increased rates.

As these resolutions addressed the customer's concerns, we felt the customer would then be satisfied. Although several details in the allegations are unfounded, we remain committed to this customer and believe we have done everything within reason to address the concerns and honor the terms of our agreement.

In fact, this same issue was also brought by the customer to the Better Business Bureau, who has since ruled the matter โ€œadministratively judged resolvedโ€ stating, โ€œThe Better Business Bureau has determined that you [UniFirst] made a good faith effort to resolve the complaint and has now closed it."
